Breakaway Travel Oshawa Inc., hereby known in these terms and conditions as breakawayonline.ca, has the same responsibilities as a licensed travel agency in the province of Ontario; as such it offers the service of providing travel information and reservations, as provided by various third party suppliers, to the customer.

Customers must be at least 18 years of age in order to purchase travel services from breakawayonline.ca. Users of this website must agree to all of the terms and conditions listed on this page in order to use this website

Pricing & Content

All prices within this website are in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated. Airport fees and taxes, where applicable, are not included in the pricing. Some destinations have departure taxes and airport improvement fees paid locally which are not included in you total cost. Please inquire with our office if you will need to pay anything locally. All prices on this website are subject to change without prior notice. Any changes in pricing that may occur before, during or after a purchase, as a result of a tour operator change, are not the responsibility of breakawayonline.ca. Once a booking is complete, pricing CANNOT be adjusted. Pricing and availability on all packages and flights is not guaranteed until confirmed. Should there be a discrepancy between the price shown on the website and that of the actual tour operator selling price, the later shall prevail.

All products are subject to availability and deliverable within Canada only. All informational content, such as hotel and destination information, on this website is provided only as a guideline and may not be an exact representation. breakawayonline.ca is aware that the customer is in demand of accurate information and as a result makes every effort possible to make sure that the content within this website is up-to-date. Best Price Guaranteed - breakawayonline.ca will match any genuine price quote provided the price is not below cost. While breakawayonline.ca will make every attempt to provide the lowest pricing, occasionally circumstances beyond our control may prevent us from providing the lowest price. These circumstances may include but are not limited to group pricing, blocked space pricing, at source discounts, and exclusive price agreements. breakawayonline.ca reserves the right to request a written price quote on any fare that is being matched. Prices are only guaranteed at time of booking and will not be lowered once the booking is complete. Price changes made by the airline or tour operator after a booking has been completed cannot be matched.

Payment

Payment for online bookings is required in full at the time of purchase. Online purchases can be made using Visa, MasterCard, or American Express credit cards. Airfare and vacation package purchases are 100% non-refundable. Credit card purchases must have at least one passenger travelling on file for the booking to be valid and to purchase trips with breakawayonline.ca. We CANNOT accept 3rd party credit cards online, please contact one of our representatives that will be happy to assist you. All fraudulent purchases will be investigated and prosecuted.

Confirmation and Delivery

After a purchase is made, the customer will receive an email confirming their purchase. It is the responsibility of the customer to verify that the information on the confirmation email is in accordance with the travel product that they have purchased. If there is a discrepancy between the information on the e-mail and that of what the customer booked, the customer MUST contact our office (905-723-0000 or 1-877-605-8572) within 24 hours from the time of booking.

The customer may decide to have their tickets delivered to them via courier or receive them via airport pick-up. Courier deliveries are applicable to an additional fee of $15.00 within Ontario and $25.00 for the rest of Canada. If the customer chooses the airport pick-up option the tour operator will deliver the customer's tickets to the airport and the customer may pick them up on the day of departure. The customer is responsible to comply with the applicable tour operator's airport pick-up conditions.

Customers residing in the Durham Region area may also choose to pick-up their tickets at the Breakaway Travel Oshawa travel agency. If selecting this option, one of our customer care representatives will contact you

breakawayonline.ca receives documents from the tour operator usually 2-3 weeks before departure. Once they are received by us, they will be processed and then sent to the customer. The tickets will be delivered to the customer at least 1 week prior to departure. For last minute purchases (departures within 3 weeks) tickets are available on an airport pick-up option only.

Documentation

It is the responsibility of the customer to obtain all the necessary documents, such as valid passports and visas, required to gain entry into the country of destination. Obtaining passports and visas may require lengthy processing times; it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that all required documentation is received before travel departure. It is the customer as well as all passengers travelling responsibility to present immigration officials with a valid passport, visa or proof of Citizenship as well as Government issued photo I.D to enter any country including your return to Canada. It is the customer and all passengers travelling responsibility to obtain documention, information and requirements from the Consulate of country being entered. breakawayonline.ca and Breakaway Travel Oshawa Inc will not be responsible for denied entry to any Country due to not obtaining proper documention prior to departure, criminal record or any illegal activity.

IMPORTANT - Children 18 and under travelling alone or with only one parent MUST have a notarized letter of authorization signed by the parent who is not travelling or if both parents are not travelling with the child, this note must be signed by both parents. Travel vaccinations may be required from time to time and it is the customer as well as all passengers travelling to inquire with Health Canada.

Cancellation

Airfare and vacation package purchases are 100% non-refundable. All purchases MAY be changeable for a fee that is determined by the tour operator that you have made your reservation with. It is highly recommended that the customer purchase travel insurance in order to protect themselves against the loss of their purchase due to unforeseen circumstances. Please see below.

Insurance

For every sale, breakawayonline.ca offers the option to purchase travel insurance to cover the customer against any unforeseen circumstances that may occur prior to, during or after your trip. There are different types of insurance packages available and the purchase of insurance is an optional decision to the customer. Breakaway Travel Oshawa Inc highly recommends purchasing travel insurance.

If the customer wants to make an insurance claim, it is their responsibility to contact Breakaway Travel Oshawa representative as soon as possible. Please contact us if you require more information regarding travel insurance.
